Hi, I'm Natalie Igunbor!
I love finding out about my ancestors, and I love telling stories! I think family history is meant to be shared, and by finding out about our ancestors, we feel more connected to them.
I've been researching and helping friends research their family trees for the past 20 years. My favorite part of the research is making connections with my ancestors' lives. I love bringing those connections to life for my family members, and I'd love to bring your connections to life for you, too!
I have a masters degree in Special Education and a dual bachelors degree in Mathematics Education and Special Education. I hold current teaching licenses in Colorado and Texas. I have won awards for both my writing and my teaching.
I began doing family history when I was 10 years old. My dad took me to the Family History Library and showed me how to look things up on microfilms. I've been working on genealogy on my own since my early twenties. This was the beginning of my life-long passion and skills, that I'm now using to help others discover their pasts.
I have experience researching in the United States, England, and Germany, and have written reports of my research for personal, family, and client use from all three regions. I am a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, and the Fort Worth Genealogical Society.
I strive to provide my clients with memorable stories from their past, like they do on the television shows "Finding your Roots" and "Who do you think you are?" at a price that the typical person can afford.
Under your direction, I will utilize my skills as a professional genealogist to find the missing pieces of your family history, focusing on the pieces you want to know more about. I am committed to providing high-quality yet affordable genealogical research that you and your family can treasure forever.
